So that you can give your new favorite pieces a long life, we offer you here a brief guide to washing and care.
Keeping it fresh
As long as the soft, cuddly garments are not soiled, it is sufficient to air them out regularly - preferably outdoors.
However, if a stain does get onto the high-quality garments, we recommend mild machine washing or hand washing in cold water. The detergent used must be a special wool detergent. Otherwise, the high-quality fibers will be stressed and thus appear dull. It is also advisable to weigh up whether it is not sufficient to wash only the soiled part.
If the high-quality fibers come into the machine, you should note these 3 things:
1. Select wool program with max. 30 °
2. Use mild detergent
3. Use laundry bag
When hand washing, the following trio always applies:
1. Keep soaking time as short as possible, i.e. no longer than 10-15 min.
2. Never wring out or rub the garment to retain its shape! It shrinks and becomes deformed.
Therefore, it is better to remove excess water by squeezing (optimal: squeeze it into a towel).
3. Do not dry your cherished garments in the sun under any circumstances, and spread them out flat if possible, perhaps even lay them on a towel. Do not exceed room temperature and never put it on the heater!
In the closet & on the body
When storing cashmere products, bags and containers are much more suitable than built-in closets: here wool-eating insects can get in more easily. What these insects also "do not like": washed clothes. Instead of washing them before storing them for a longer period of time, you can simply bag dried lavender and place it between the clothes. These lie in the optimum case in a cold and dark closet, and
the joy of the care of our garments inspires the wonderfully feather-light wearing feeling, the super-soft feel, and flatters the watchful aesthetic eye permanently.

"Bakaree" means goat in Hindu. Originally, the cashmere goat comes from the Himalayan mountains. The long undercoat of the cashmere goat is finer than the very thinnest sheep wool. It is therefore considered one of the most exquisite and uxquisite animal hair. Our high quality Bakaree yarn is obtained in Inner Mongolia, through a special combing process that is particularly gentle on the goats. This is because the goats are not sheared, but exclusively combed. That's where it begins: our appreciation and value creation for the product.
In large parts of Nepal, the factories discovered by the founders carefully craft each garment in traditional handwork. This special craftsmanship, which is exclusive to the Kathmandu region and highly valued there, gives the workmanship its inimitable, impeccable quality.
